Tl dr a dude approached me at the gym and said my workouts weren't effective and wants me to workout with him. I guess I'm just worried he'll talk down to me/treat me like a dumb girl, even if he is trying to help, which I will HATE. Like guys who approach you at the gym and say "you know, you really should be doing X Y and Z and blah blah" and automatically think I don't know what I'm doing because I'm a chick. Also, I REALLY hate when dudes who feel like they know more than me on a subject talk down to me about it. So my question is, would you do it? Part of me wants to because he seems knowledgable but I also feel like it could be kind of awkward. For reference he was a super buff dude, seemed nice and enthusiastic but in that gym guy way, if you know what I mean. he went into more detail about push/pull movements and some stuff I didn't understand really. I can show you workouts that will get you better results" etc etc. I'm not hitting on you or anything, but I'd like you to work out with me for a week. So yesterday I was at the gym and the guy approached me and says something along the lines of "hey I've been watching you work out the past few weeks, not in a creepy way, but I've noticed that you always workout hard, but the workouts you do aren't very effective when grouped together like that. Essentially the first few weeks it's entire body circuits that works everything, and then after that it gets into isolated muscle group workouts.
